At present, environmental protection and ecological civilization construction have entered a new period of development, and young scholars will play important roles in solving the major global environmental problems. Up to now, the negative impact of COVID-19 still continues globally. Therefore, we plan to hold “The 1^st Europe-China Eco-Environmental Forum for Young Scholars” online on May 22^nd, 2022, aiming at helping European and Chinese young teachers, Humboldt scholars, Marie-Curie scholars, and post-doctors in the eco-environmental dimension build a communication platform, create open and diverse academic atmosphere, stimulate theory exploration and empirical innovation enthusiasm, and deepen the cooperation and exchange of the eco-environment frontier scientific research under the new era and the new development pattern.

The forum is divided into five themes:

 (1) Climate change and carbon neutrality

 (2) Water treatment and resource recycling

 (3) Environmental health and toxicology

 (4) Environmental microbiology

 (5) Environmental simulation and micro-ecology
